About Us
South West Rocks Preschool is a community-based early learning centre for children aged 3 to 6 years. We provide a welcoming space where children can learn, play, and grow in a supportive, play-based environment.
Our program is guided by university-qualified educators, supported by a team of experienced early childhood professionals who work closely together to support each child’s development.
Our purpose-built centre offers spacious indoor and outdoor environments where children are encouraged to explore, connect, and build confidence.
We warmly welcome families to visit us, meet our team, and experience our preschool community. Please feel free to get in touch or arrange a time to come and see us.
Our Values
At South West Rocks Preschool, our values are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and centre around three key ideas - Love, Live and Learn.
We believe that every child is capable, curious and brings their own knowledge and experiences into our preschool. Our educators work closely with families to build strong relationships and create meaningful learning experiences together.
LOVE
We support children to develop a strong sense of belonging to their family, their community, and their environment. Through positive relationships and a caring atmosphere, children feel safe, valued and connected.
LIVE
We value the importance of being present in the moment. Children are supported to enjoy their childhood, explore freely, take on challenges, and simply be — learning through play, curiosity and everyday experiences.
LEARN
We support children as they grow and develop their identity, confidence and independence. Through meaningful experiences, children build the skills they need to actively participate in the world around them.

Our Approach
At South West Rocks Preschool, our approach is guided by the belief that childhood is a time of belonging, being, and becoming.
We see children as capable, curious and confident learners, and support them to explore, discover and grow at their own pace through play-based experiences.
We value strong partnerships with families and recognise the important role they play in each child’s development. By working closely together, we create a supportive and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, respected and connected.
Our educators are committed to providing meaningful learning experiences that foster independence, confidence and a love of learning. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, we create welcoming, engaging and responsive environments that support every child's individual needs.
As part of our community, we encourage children to develop a sense of responsibility for the world around them, fostering respect for others, for the environment and for the wider community.
